Group Levels
We start with a beginner level class which will introduce you to the principles of Pilates and ensure you are comfortable and confident in progressing onto the next level. I would recommend 4-5 weeks before going onto an intermediate level. There is also an advanced class which I am happy to host for experienced clients with at least 20 sessions behind them.
Booking Window & Terms
To book, please create a profile on this website. After this, you can purchase either drop in classes or packages and book via this website. Please do not download the Wix App as it does not work well.
Please note our bookings close 2 hours before class so make sure you book in advance for your desired slot. For early morning classes, booking will close at 9pm the night before (we all like to sleep-in when we can).
Please also note the 12 hour cancelation policy.
If less than 2 people are signed up to a class you will be offered a credit refund so you can rebook onto another class that is suitable for you. The other option is to turn your group session into a Private session by using more credits from your package.
Private or Group Class
Private sessions focus on your individual needs and goals. We work on various Classical Pilates equipment using a Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Ladder Barrel and more. A Pilates system consists of much more than just a reformer.
I recommend Private classes for pre and post natal clients, those with injuries and anyone looking to deepen their practice and dive into the Classical system.
Group classes are great for overall fitness development, working on more functional Pilates exercises. Our group classes are small, so you will still receive attention to detail and options given to various levels of clients. I focus on delivering quality Pilates classes rather than Instagram led nonsense.
Mat vs Reformer
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using just your bodyweight an smaller props like Magic Circle, Weights and Ball, while equipment Pilates uses specialised machines and equipment to add resistance and support to your movements with the assistance of springs.
Reformer classes are great for overall strengthening of the body. It is a low impact workout that will fire up your muscles. In some classes we will use weights and other props to add to the challenge!
Group Levels
We start with a beginner level class which will introduce you to the principles of Pilates and ensure you are comfortable and confident in progressing onto the next level. We would recommend 5-10 group classes before going onto an intermediate level. There is also an advanced class which the instructor is happy to host for experienced clients with at least 20 sessions behind them.
New clients would be required to come in for a private assessment session prior to joining group classes to address their individual needs first and go through the Pilates system. This will ensure you get the most out of your practice in the long run.
Injurys
Please inform the instructor if you have any injuries or feel that they should be aware of anything that may effect your workout. The instructor will offer modifications where appropriate or advise Private sessions if required. Please always follows your doctors or physiotherapists advice on what exercise is suitable for you. We recommend private sessions for those with acute injuries like slipped disks.
Canellation
We work on a strict 12 hour cancellation policy for all private, semi private and group classes. This is to ensure a fair booking system both to other customers and the instructor.
Atire
I recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for a full range of movement. Pilates is typically done in grip socks.
Please note that no jewellery can be worn during class.
You can purchase grip socks from us online or in the studio. Please wear normal socks if unable to purchase grip socks for hygienic reasons.
Payment
Please always pre book your spot and settle payment ahead of class. This allows us to keep track of who has paid and how many classes they still have on their package. If you absolutely have to pay in cash please let us know prior to class.
I prefer payment via FPS or PayMe. Otherwise a card payment option is available online.
Wash Room
Wash room and a shower is available.
